I decided to, again, prolong the shutter speed and lowering the aperture to emphasise speed and I increased the saturation to make it look more like a painting than a photo.

Unfortunately I didn't get to send this photo off as the deadline for the competition is at 12pm (and it's now 3pm.) However, I took this picture on the coach back from London making sure to lower the shutter speed so that I could capture the liveliness of the city after dark.

Task 2: Future Portrait

In this task I wanted to develop my Photoshop skills by changing the clothes that I'm wearing outside the mirror to the clothes I am wearing in the reflection of the mirror. I achieved this though layering; rubbing out and burning in one layer on top of another. Next I needed to make myself look older, I did this by using the colour replacement tool and changing my hair to grey. Next I used this same tool to create a beard, however, this made the image look cheap, because it didn't look realistic. When printed off I then wanted to pencil in the slight winkles, because again, doing this on Photoshop ruins the image, unless it is done perfectly.

Here I wanted to create something that, when someone watched it, would ask "how was it done?", and I wanted to do this by making the image interact with me.
